Save the Date for the 2026 National Meeting
The Higher Education Center's National Meeting is an opportunity for professionals working to address collegiate substance misuse across the continuum to come together and learn from subject matter experts and their peers. This year’s conference will take place fully virtually, October 19 – 22, 2026. All sessions will be recorded and accessible to all attendees after the conference.
This conference is intended for any professional working in the AOD field with college students, include campus health educators, campus health and wellness administrators, collegiate recovery staff, counselors, fraternity and sorority life professionals, student affairs professionals, coalition leaders, and state and local partners of college campuses.
Registration will open in early May.
Registration includes access to:
- Streaming access to daily keynotes, discussions with recorded session presenters, and virtual networking opportunities from October 19 – 22, 2026
- Recordings of all live keynotes and educational sessions once complete
- CHES/MCHES hours for live sessions
- Conference recordings until October 31, 2027
Virtual Conference Member Registration Discount
Paid memberships with the Higher Education Center (HECAOD) include a discount for virtual conference registrations. To be eligible for this discount, you must be an employee at an institution with a current Campus or ScreenU membership, hold an Individual Membership, or be named on an Institutional Membership that is valid through October 22, 2026. Lapses in membership prior to the conference may result in additional fees equal to the non-member rate. Discount codes will be emailed to members when registration opens. Questions regarding accessing your member discount should be directed to hecaod@osu.edu.
Cancellation & Substitution Policy
Virtual conference registration is non-refundable.
Substitutions for the virtual conference are allowed if the attendees are from the same institution or organization. Substitutions must be for two individuals within the same membership level or the difference in registration fees must be paid. Substitution requests must be emailed to hecaod@osu.edu and will not be accepted by phone.
