Strategies for Working Effectively with Greek-Affiliated Students: Gaining Access, Getting Buy-in, and Building Rapport

Overview:

Implementing successful intervention and training programs for high-resistance student populations is only possible if targeted buy-in strategies are employed and trust is developed and fostered. Learn strategies the Well-being & Health Promotion Department at San Diego State University has utilized to gain access and build rapport within resistant populations, including members of Greek Life. Stephanie will review the importance of breaking down walls, developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including examples and evidence of programming and interventions that have been successfully executed.
