National Meeting Update

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused all of us to reflect on how we can meet the needs of our stakeholders while abiding by physical distancing guidelines. We have seen you do incredible things to meet the needs of your students during this trying time and it is now our turn to pivot to better meet the needs of our community of AOD professionals during this time. To protect the health and safety of our attendees, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person National Meeting this year.

However, we believe in the importance of coming together to learn from each other and expand our networks. In this spirit, we look forward to offering a virtual National Meeting experience to our professional community. We are already working to develop a professional development experience that maintains the essence of the National Meeting. Please continue to hold August 3-6 on your calendar. We will release additional information about the virtual National Meeting experience in the coming weeks. We hope you will join us!

For those who have already registered for the conference, you will receive a follow up email this week with information about refunds. All hotel reservations have been cancelled on your behalf. Should you have any questions you are welcome to reach out to hecaod@osu.edu.
