Registration Opening Soon for the 2021 National Meeting
August 2 – 5, 2021
Although we are unable to meet in person for the 2021 National Meeting, we are excited to bring a virtual conference experience geared for campus professionals working in the field of substance misuse prevention and collegiate recovery. Join other attendees for the opportunity to learn about issues impacting collegiate substance use across the continuum, evidence-based practices and how to implement them in a sustainable and impactful way, as well as networking opportunities to meet others from across the country.
Call for Proposals Now Open!
This past year has been one of many challenges making clear that we need to think of the student more broadly and reinforced that students are intrinsically linked to the greater community in which a campus resides. Therefore, the National Meeting Planning Committee seeks program proposals that highlight three main elements that are implicit within this theme:
- Considerations of the developmental continuum of students and holistic approaches that address substance misuse and supporting students in recovery.
- Lessons learned through the challenges of 2020, including the impact and responses to the coronavirus pandemic, racial injustice, and the election.
- External community elements such as the legalization and decriminalization of drugs and other emerging drug trends that impact students and how our work is done
